Ljóð - NORDIC songmAgic molenschot - Nederland

Orðin þau á mig leita
óróleg, stór og smá.
Ég reyni þeim ró að veita
og raða sem best ég má.
Og orðin þau verða að óði
hvar una þau dável sér.
Og í þessu litla ljóði
liggja þau fyrir þér.

The words, they come to me, restless, big and small.
I try to give them calm and arrange them as best I can.
And the words, they become a poem where they rest very well. And in this little vers
they lie before you.

Ljóð comes from Old Norse and means song, verses (chants), or troll song (magical songs).

This weekend, we will be working with exactly this Ljóð as we dive into what we know about these ancient traditions. This workshop will introduce you to the esoteric wisdom rooted in our Nordic heritage.

The voice is one of the most powerful instruments in Norse practice. Through chanting, singing, and the tradition of verses, your voice can become a direct channel where you use your voice for empowerment, healing, and transformation.

Seid and Galdr

• Seid: This practice shares similarities with shamanism and involves entering altered states of consciousness to communicate with spirits, receive guidance, or influence your surrounding.

• Galdr: A form of song, where we use galdralag (verse techniques) to compose our own galdr.

Both practices use the voice as a tool to connect with unseen realms and shape reality.

This workshop is open to anyone who has previously attended our Seid workshop – Power of the Voice – and wishes to deepen their practice. You will build on what you have already learned and expand your understanding of these ancient traditions.

This workshop will be given in English by Inger.
